A Mindfulness Approach to Improving Your Emotional Well Being
Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get into a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. This interest led me to study psychology and earn a bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho. I went on to earn my Master's Degree in social work at Eastern Washington University. Upon graduating, I returned to my native roots in Reno, Nevada and worked in therapeutic foster care where I obtained my clinical license. I spent many years working with youth and families in foster care then started providing crisis consultations, individual, and group therapy with college students of all ages at the University of Nevada Reno. I have been licensed since 2007.
I enjoy spending time with family, friends, traveling, being in nature, physical fitness, running, and just relaxing!
